The festival featured 14 of the country’s top chorales, all performing the new works of renowned choral arranger Robert Delgado, Invocations: Choral Arrangements of Opening Prayers (Compilation Series No. 6). Headlining the show were the Philippine Madrigal Singers, the University of the East Chorale, Imusicapella and the University of the Philippines Singing Ambassadors.

Also featured festival choirs were Chorus Vocales from the Shrine of Jesus Church at Guadalupe Nuevo, Maryknoll Sanctuary Chorale from Baguio City, Tarlac State University Chamber Choir, Holy Angel University Chorale from Angeles City, the Lighter Side Movement from San Felipe Neri Parish in Mandaluyong, St John Marie Vianney Chorale, Alay-Himig, the Sisters of Mary Chorale from Boys Town, the Napocor Chorale, and the National Grid Corporation Chorale.

The concert coincided with the launching of “Invocations,” the compilation of liturgical works arranged by Robert Delgado, which was performed that evening. The event also kicked off fundraising efforts for the Philippine Male Singers, who will represent the country at the Festival Internacional de Canto Coral en Cataluna, which will take place in September at Puig-Reig, Barcelona, Spain.

Delgado, who is currently choirmaster for the Philippine Male Singers, is a choral conductor, composer and arranger, clinician, jury, publisher and choral events organizer.

She was able to return to us the filled-up scanned form with a copy of her visa (we’ll just print it here, cheaper, faster and easier than the regular mail). However, when we review the documents, we question ourselves if ever one is already an immigrant, will pensioner be still authorized to receive the pension since he/she is now on a foreign land.

Some of my friends are smokers, yes they are. And as I can see it, you are really selfish. Alright, just most of them – because there are others who came to their senses and stopped smoking. We, your loved ones, are just worried of your health.

I am really sorry for those who smokes in public places. They always disregard whom they are amongst with. That there are some kids near them and still keep on sipping their cigars.

Ask yourself, 1. “am I in the smoking area?”, 2. am I near the kids of others?, why I said others? because at home you don’t smoke beside your own kids, right? 3. “am I beside elderly?” 4. “am I in public places?” 5. “am I near religious establishments?” like church or worship halls. 6. “am I in a crowd of non-smokers?”

You have to consider who is standing right beside you when you smoke.

In the early years, we lived not smoking so why can’t you not? Oh! you’re stress? We all are. You have some problems? we all have. It’s just a matter of how you handle things, dude!

I SALUTE those people who took the initiative to stop that bad habit. I pity those who stopped smoking because of health problems and complications now they are suffering. Please don’t wait until you or your loved ones get sick because of smoking.

God made all His creations perfect but there are those who said NO because sin exist. Yes, sin does exist we cannot deny that since the beginning but it doesn’t mean He created it also. Because of His love to all His creations especially mankind, He gave us the power to choose so we can move freely on our own, decide decisions on our own, etc. He don’t want us to be like robot.

As the CREATOR of this world, before the creation of mankind, He provided first all our needs from sunlight to air and water because our body needs it to leave; beautiful surroundings for us to see like grass fields, flowers and trees to touch and run along with; fishes in the sea and birds in the sky; land creatures and animals; after all these then He created man. What a beautiful setup, perfectly created for mankind to leave with.

If we go back to the basic and if we think of what our body is built of, maybe we will know why God gave those instructions of what we should eat or not to eat up to these present times. (no more Old Times and New Times)

Our bodies are built up from the food we eat. There is a constant breaking down of the tissues of the body; every movement of every organ involves waste, and this waste is repaired from our food. Each organ of the body requires its share of nutrition. The brain must be supplied with its portion; the bones, muscles, and nerves demand theirs. It is a wonderful process that transforms the food into blood and uses this blood to build up the varied parts of the body; but this process is going on continually, supplying with life and strength each nerve, muscle, and tissue.

Those foods should be chosen that best supply the elements needed for building up the body. In this choice, appetite is not a safe guide. Through wrong habits of eating, the appetite has become perverted. Often it demands food that impairs health and causes weakness instead of strength. We cannot safely be guided by the customs of society. The disease and suffering that everywhere prevail are largely due to popular errors in regard to diet.

In order to know what are the best foods, we must study God’s original plan for man’s diet. He who created man and who understands his needs appointed Adam his food. “Behold,” He said, “I have given you every herb yielding seed,… and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.” Genesis 1:29, A.R.V.

Upon leaving Eden to gain his livelihood by tilling the earth under the curse of sin, man received permission to eat also “the herb of the field.” Genesis 3:18.

Grains, fruits, nuts, and vegetables constitute the diet chosen for us by our Creator. These foods, prepared in as simple and natural a manner as possible, are the most healthful and nourishing. They impart a strength, a power of endurance, and a vigor of intellect that are not afforded by a more complex and stimulating diet.

Conclusion: (my conclusion)

So what am I pointing out here? Every sea and land creatures were created together with its own purpose and use. God engineered everything in accordance to His plan perfectly.

• Originally, He created man to eat grains, fruits, nuts and vegetables only. (later He said to eat vegetables because He knows sickness is rapidly growing, so the main purpose of vegetables is for healing)

• He created every creatures in the sea for the purpose of beautification, scavengers and janitors to clean the seas. (later permitted to eat some sea creatures but only those He knew that are only clean and not those who are scavengers)

• He created animals for pet, help mankind in their hard labors, but some are also are created as land cleaners and scavengers. (later permitted to eat some land creatures but only those He knew that are only clean and not those who are scavengers)

So in other words, He knows what’s good and bad for our body. Just like car company’s, they know what parts should be used in their cars.

Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? 1 Corinthians 6:19.

Below is a few little changes to be aware of that will affect how you market the fanpages.

Viber, the cross-platform VoIP app popular for its free voice calling and text messaging, has received its official upgrade for Ice Cream Sandwich-compatibility, available now in the Android Market. Viber arrived on Android last summer and just recently announced that it has reached a 50 million registered users milestone. Viber uses your 3G/4G or WiFi connection to call or text other registered Android or iOS Viber users for free.

In addition to support for Android 4.0, the most recent update also brings with it “significant enhancements” to the Viber voice engine, promising better voice quality, improved support for lower-end devices, and better handling of poor network quality. Other recent updates have brought location and photo sharing, as well as UI improvements, including the ability to see when another person is typing a text message.
